The object
of this Association is to perpetuate the social relations existing
among the members of the Association of Exempt Firemen of the
Borough of Rockaway, and to render such assistance in case of fire
as the Officers of the Association may deem proper to direct, by the
advice and consent of the officers of the borough, and to do such
other things consistent with the laws of the state and with
permission of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Rockaway, as
may be of benefit to the members of this association.
